MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2009 PAGEANT (VENUE STILL TO BE ANNOUNCED)TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following are the official terms and conditions of Mister USA™. Contestants must read and adhere to these terms and conditions in order to participate in the Mister USA™ program. To be eligible:
- Contestant must be a minimum of 18 years of age and no older than 30 years of age by May 1st of competition year. Proof of age required.
- Contestant must be at least 5'9".
- Contestant must be a natural-born male.
- Contestant must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the U.S. and its territories including Guam, Puerto Rico,
U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, & Northern Marianas)
- Contestant must be of good health & moral character.
- Contestant must have a handsome face and well-toned body.
- Contestant must have pleasant personality and good manners.
- Contestant must be single, never have been married and must have never fathered a child.
- Contestant must never have been convicted of a felony crime.
- Contestant must possess very good communication skills in English.
- Contestant must not be bound by any agreement that would prevent him from signing and fulfilling the contestant contract.
- If entering as an at-large contestant, he will be subject to an entry fee of $100.00 to be paid by April 25, 2009 to secure a spot in the pageant. The entry fee is non-refundable if the contestant withdraws from or fails to participate in the competition. The entry fee is necessary to cover production expenses, advertising, venue rentals, printing, administrative work, gifts and prizes, and miscellaneous operational expenses.
- Contestant must provide his own transportation to and from host city.
- Contestant must provide own hotel accommodations, while in the host city (or share with roommate) for the one-day event.
- Contestant must never have nor will he during his reign pose for any photography, video or film associated with nudity or pornography. Nor has he ever or is presently involved with any type of employment involving partial or full nudity.
- Contestant agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of Mister USA™ competition.
- Contestant will permit Critical Beauty and its licensees the right to use the contestant's photograph for publicity purposes in connection with all Mister USA™ competitions.
- Contestant will permit Critical Beauty and its licensees to film or videotape any portion or all of the competition.
- Contestant understands that Critical Beauty reserves the right to change the dates & location of the Mister USA™ National pageant.
- Contestant understands that Critical Beauty reserves the right to deny an applicant for whatever reason.
- Contestant understands that if selected a winner of his competition, that for one year his professional affairs, as said winner, will be under the sole management of Critical Beauty and /or its licensees and that he will not give any written or oral endorsements commercially, without the expressed permission of said same. Contestant further acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in any regional, state or international competition affiliated with Critical Beauty shall belong exclusively to same.
- These rules and regulations are subject to modification, as needed, without prior notice. Pageant reserves the right to make said modifications at its sole discretion.
If you understand all of the above terms & conditions and if you fulfill all requirements, you are eligible as a contestant and you may begin the Process of Application below.
PROCESS OF APPLICATION
To apply for the Mister USA™ 2009 competition, the applicant must submit the following by or before April 30, 2008:
1. Fill out and submit the MISTER USA™ 2009 ENTRY FORM.
2. Three (3) digital photos (headshot, swimwear, casual) to be submitted via e-mail to: criticalbeauty@aol.com

PHOTO CREDIT : JANICE DICKINSON MODELING AGENCYIMPORTANT: All digital photos submitted must be in color, must be at least 200 pixels in resolution, and must be of high quality, recent, and professionally taken. We recommend that you find a good professional photographer to take your pictures. You may also invite the photographer to sponsor you or to offer you a special discount rate. Your photos will be posted in the official Mister USA™ website. The public will get to vote for Mister Internet, while a group of professional photographers will vote for Mister Photogenic, so it is important that your pictures are exceptionally good.
3. OPTIONAL: A brief videoclip containing two parts. First part: a brief introduction (similar to Mister International "Close-Up Video"), lasting about 30 seconds. Second part: catwalk/posing techniques, lasting about 45 seconds. The entire clip should not exceed 3 minutes. You may submit your videoclip as a videofile, or you may post it on Yahoo, Google or other free video sites and just send us the link to it.
4. Once we have received your complete application (online bio, photos), we will review it thoroughly and then advise you whether you qualify as a contestant or not. If you qualify as a contestant, we will send you an Agreement Form in WordDoc that you need to read carefully and return to us with the date and your printed name. The Agreement Form summarizes the Rules & Regulations and secures your spot in the competition.
5. We will post the bios and photos of all accepted applicants in the Mister USA™ 2009 Contestants section by July 31st.
